In the beginning I was mainly self taught because of rural isolation but attended every possible workshop by travel teachers from Australia and from overseas. Learning and creating all the time.
I love to paint birds and Australian wildflowers. I have won awards at local and city shows, the teachers section of the annual painting convention for Decorative Folk Artist Of Queensland. I have designed invitations that were printed in the UK, had articles published in Decorative Painting Magazine, taught local classes for many years and had a lot of fun. For many years I only painted with Jo Sonja paints but I love the Atelier Interactive and AM paints as well as starting to play with oils.
My favourite thing is colour and lots of it.
