Organiser of "ART BREAKS IN YORKSHIRE" art holiday courses for enthusiasts of all abilities. Tony is recognised world wide for his relaxed and easy way of sharing his vast knowledge with those who attend his courses or join in one of his demostrations.
Following art collage training in the early sixties his work is now exhibited and hung in home and galleries around the world.

Initially trained at Bradford Regional College of Art he then followed a very successful career as a commercial artist working for many international companies in graphic design,illustration,advertising and marketing, before branching out to follow his own fine art career over thirty years ago.
For the last fifteen years he and his wife Eileen (an artist in her own right) have successfully run art holiday courses on the stunning Yorkshire Wolds, which has latterly become famous from the exposure of the paintings created in this area by David Hockney.

Tony frequently gives demonstrations and workshops to art societies across the whole of the United Kingdom, and at major trade shows for art material manufacturers and suppliers.
With his unique position as a demonstrator for several leading art materials manufacturers he is also able to give workshops where the media can be provided on the day.
A prolific painter who exhibits in several galleries he is a tutor for the Open College of the Arts, a professional associate of the Society of all Artists and the United Kingdom Pencil Society.
Alongside this busy lifestyle he writes articles for leading art magazines with pieces published in Leisure Painter, Paint and Artist & Illustrators in recent times. A new series of articles featuring step by step paintings of the same view throughout four seasons will be published during 2012 and 2013 in the Leisure Painter magazine.
He was the first resident artist of the twenty first century at ‘Burton Agnes Hall’ a magnificent Elizabethan stately hall in Yorkshire and produced paintings for the Television series ‘Heartbeat’
