Central Texas Imagery/Landscape

This gallery of images is a collection of plein air paintings of Lake Travis which is an ongoing series, as well as other images taken from the native plant life and landscape. Chroma Ateilier makes the journey exciting and inspiring.

Still Scapes: Prickly Profusion I painted 3, 30 x 30 x 1.25 on canvas with Interactives and loved the large format with the wonderful paints and pigments. I love the flattened and foreshortened disk forms of the pads, the spikes, flowers, and the many shadow patterns that result. This is my second in this series, and now that the blooms are out I am busy sketching, creating photo references and painting with Atelier Interactives.
