Paint, Mediums n Lace
Jo Sonja Paint, Altelier Impasto Gel Medium and Lace are used to create these items. Some of the items are done by a friend who I taught to do the technique. You can see how versatile this technique is
Lady in Lace
This cover was made for an A5 spiral bound visual diary. Created using Jo Sonja Paints & Mediums, Atelier Impasto Gel, new and old lace, calico and beads. The beads at the far left were sewn on but it was so difficult to get the needle through all the layers that I decided for the first time to experiment with Atelier Impasto Gel to adhere the other beads on. I have carried this notebook with me in my handbag many times and I have not lost a bead, the Impasto Gel has stood the test of time as far as using it for adhesion. What a useful product and it saves money as there is no need to buy other products. The next image is a close up
