Greens

If you are a landscape painter your choice of greens will be influenced by the landscape you see around you.

If you choose your colours by selecting what seems closest to what you will be needing with the intention of brightening or subduing them, we show some of the directions you can move in using Transparent Yellow, Arylamide Yellow Light, Arylamide Yellow Deep, Pthalo Blue and Ultramarine Blue. Pthalo Green is hardly ever useful by itself, but is very useful for mixing.
