Liz Black of Applejack Crafts and the UK Jo Sonja distributor, Lynn Courteney at Flutterby Crafts in conjunction with Chroma UK have launched a new website specifically for users of Jo Sonja products. Fraser Kirkwood, Managing Director of Chroma Europe, who produce the range, is delighted with the site “This one-stop shop allows all users to get everything they need from the product in one place. They can browse images, get ideas, learn new techniques, ask questions, make friends and purchase the products too.”
The idea behind the site was created by Liz Black of Applejack Crafts, who works with both Fraser from Chroma and the distributor, Lynn Courteney at Flutterby Crafts. Liz provides support and classes on the product range. “Lynn has created such a great community feel at Flutterby Crafts, that I wanted to emulate that in a website for Jo Sonja’s products. The idea being that whatever you use the paint for, at whatever level you’re at, you can ‘pop in’ and get something from the website. In building the community, users will be able to access information on different classes/events in the UK, project ideas, product information as well as share ideas and tips with other users on the forum. “
Lynn looks at the new website as a more accessible resource, rather than just another on-line shop, part of promoting Flutterby Crafts as the Jo Sonja Centre of Excellence. And the site isn’t just for everyday users either. There are plans for developing a network of teachers, demonstrators and stockists who can also share business knowledge and support each other through a series of networking events which will take place later in the year.
Each page of the site allows access to the forum, gallery (divided into different categories) and events section listing upcoming events. The products section is most comprehensive and the idea behind the site is fully explored in the section called SENSE, all about networking and developing ideas.
The website can be found at www.josonjas-uk.co.uk. For more information on the Jo Sonja’s range contact Lynn Courteney at Flutterby Crafts on
