A simple approach using Interactive Acrylics
A new DVD, titled ‘Painting with Acrylics – A simple approach’ has been released by Australian artist Richard Rogers. Rogers is a painter of landscapes with 25 years painting and exhibiting experience. He also teaches at various workshops and from his studio in South Australia. His art captures the iconic colours and forms of the Australian landscape with a difference that makes it sought after by collectors.
In the DVD, using Atelier Interactive Acrylics with only water as a medium, Rogers paints two scenes from the Australian outback. Taking the viewer through creation of two different works he demonstrates how to map an image, composition, approaches to under painting, adding detail and other painting techniques and finally evaluation of your work.
