The Chroma Student Art Competition has been updated to allow comments to be added. To make a comment or read what others have said click the comments link under the painting. Anyone can read a comment but to add one you will need to register an account and login. Please remain polite and on topic in your comments as the site is monitored and anything inappropriate will be removed.

How To Enter

The Chroma Student Art Competition is open to students enrolled in a tertiary art course with a duration of at least one year. Students must be a resident of either the USA, Canada, UK, New Zealand or Australia.

1. Purchase some of the following Chroma paints: Atelier Interactive Professional Artists’ Acrylics, Archival Professional Artists’ Oils or A2 Art Students’ Acrylics.

2. Paint a masterpiece using the Chroma paints. Note: We understand that art students often have a wide variety of different paint brands in their paint box so it is OK to mix in other brands that you have, just so long as you use some Chroma paints .

3. Photograph your painting and upload the images by clicking on the submit artwork button or burn the images to a CD and send it along with a completed mail in entry form to your nearest Chroma office. Download the Mail In Entry Form here.
