Modelling a portrait of Helen (clay bust)
This is me (some years ago now) learning howto model the head in clay. The gentleman in the background is Terry McDonald (you may recognise him from the pencil portrait I made of him, Terry was the man who taught me how to model. The following images are the half finished and completed bust

The House on Hall Lane
The House on Hall lane is about four miles from where I live. For a number of years now I have been telling myself "I am going to paint that scene one day" so eventually I got around to doing just that. I went to the area and took over 170 photographs of all kinds of trees and shrubs, anything that would or could be part of the final painting. The painting is on Belgium Linen canvas and Atelier Interactive Acrylics by Chroma were used to paint it
