My art reflects my life. Many things impact me and compel me to paint. I maintain certain dogmatic principles in my work. These principles include a necessity to record and preserve the world around me. They also include a compulsion for the technical aspects of the medium, a requirement that color excite the eye, and an obligation to paint my reality.

First Name Last Name I've been a professional painter for over twenty years.  I paint in a variety of mediums, but I enjoy using acrylics for most of my works because of the qualities inherent to the medium.

I've taught acrylic painting workshops & classes in Seattle at Pratt Fine Art Center, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and private lessons to students of various levels from beginners to advanced who wish to expand their knowledge of acrylic paints.

I pride myself on being a very honest & encouraging instructor who works diligently to to ensure that each student is challenged and motivated to reveal their artistic potential.  I wholeheartedly look forward to working with you!
