Classes/Workshops
Iconography (or icon writing classes) in the Byzantine style are conducted either as weekends, 3 hrs. weekly, or daily for one week. Participants are given the subject (to trace) onto a wood panel and then walked step-by-step through the painting process. Jo Sonja paints/mediums are used as well as 23k gold leaf. Theological elements are discussed throughout.
