Colin paints landscapes of the Scottish coast and country side, figurative and still life works. Recently he has turned his skills to doing wedding portraits in paint. For these he uses acrylics. Colin studied at Edinburgh College of Art and then the Glasgow School of Art. Subsequently he worked in Graphics and Architecture until 198, then changed his career and joined staff at the then Napier College in Edinburgh. He lectured in Interior Design, Computer Aided Design, Graphics and Technology until 2001. Colin then worked freelance until 2006 producing computer generated graphics and visualisations for Scottish and London based commercial clients. In 2006 he decided to give away computer generated graphic design for an easel and recaptured the joy of painting. I exhibit in many Scottish Galleries and paint commissions in a variety of genre.
