Frances Fussell
Born in Holland in 1947
Studied full - time Fine Art Diploma Course at East Sydney Technical College 1963 - 1967
After a short stint with the Education Department, teaching art & then working as an artist in the Teaching Resources Center, North Sydney, I have made my home in the Hunter Valley.
Since moving to Pokolbin in the early 70’s I have painted full - time, exhibiting my work in Newcastle’s von Bertouch Gallery & various galleries in Sydney & the Hunter Valley.
During my career as an artist I have concentrated on painting mainly flowers & still lifes. I love the colour & design that nature provides. A lifetime of inspiration !
