  • Public Mural by Jeremy Fox-Rayner in Andalucia, Spain.

    Atelier Interactive Acrylics have been used by international professional artist Jeremy Fox-Rayner M.S.I.A. in the creation of a grand public mural in Spain.
    The mural is large at 3.66m x 2.44m for the concourse of the new Ayuntamiento (nearest equivalent is town hall) Albox, Andalucia, in Southern Spain.

  • Scouts and Girl Guides- Hornsby Gang Show

    In 2009 Chroma Australia supported the Hornsby Gang Show, with donations of paint which were used to make needed sets. Last year’s show was called “Once upon a Time” and was held at the Asquith Boys High School Theatre in July.
    There were more than 130 participants including performers, groups involved in developing performers’ skills in singing, choreography, and acting, the stage production team and orchestra.

  • Artists' Society of Canberra

    Over 1,000 people visited the Artists' Society of Canberra's recent Spring Art Exhibition which was opened by Jon Stanhope. This year's exhibition was a great success with an increase in sales over last year and about 20% of the exhibition sold.

    Chroma Australia sponsored some Atelier Interactive prizes for various sections of the show, including Rosemary von Behrens' winning painting, Exposed . This painting gained first prize in both the Abstract/Contemporary and Best Acrylic Painting categories.

    Other prizewinners partly sponsored by Chroma in a number of other categories were Patricia Wheatstone, Wilma Southern and Chan Dissanayake.

  • National Art School HSC Intensive Program

    Chroma recently sponsored an HSC Intensive Studio Practice program run by the National Art School. The program was designed to enhance and extend students’ technical and conceptual knowledge and skills through intensive practical study.The National Art School has the longest continuing history as a public art school in Australia. It is located in Sydney's Darlinghurst within the old goal designed by Francis Greenway The school has run the course over the last 10 years with the aim of extending and enriching the students’ visual arts practice technically, conceptually and intellectually. This is a NSW Board of Studies endorsed course for HSC Visual Arts students.

  • GSB Youth Award

    In June We sponsored the Glamorgan Spring Bay Youth Award in Tasmania.
    The winning painting and artist was Prudence Raspin with her painting "Maria Island at Night"
    Prudence received the award from one of the judges, Stephen Lees. She is featured here next to the painting with her mother.
    Lona Turvey of the Glamorgan Spring Bay Council wrote in appreciation of our sponsorship of the Youth Award.

  • Story Boards for Egerton Primary School by Cool Canvas, UK

    Year six students from Egerton Primary School created pieces of exterior art work to be on permanent display on the front wall of the school. Cool Canvas were commissioned by Liz Zsargo, head teacher at the school to create 4 four large colourful story boards depicting the seasons. Community involvement is the centre piece of Cool Canvas’s philosophy towards the creation of art projects with community involvement and links to businesses such as Chroma .

  • ART IN THE MAKING PROGRAM

    Chroma sponsored Moruya Primary School with Atelier Interactive artist’s quality paints for art making activities.The aim was to create pieces for a fund raising auction,they managed to raise $7500 for future school art resources. This country Primary School is aware of the benefits that encouraging creativity brings to learning. Within the last two years the school's quest has been to promote art making.
